There’s a lot of good food to choose from at Trappers Grill on Market Street. It’s known for its steak but it also serves some great chicken and fish recipes, German food, burgers and sandwiches, pasta, pizza, soup and salads and a list of really good appetizers (my favorite are the crab cakes and toasted ravioli). Pair your meal with a glass of wine or beer from the bar. Towards the end of your meal your waitress will bring around a tray of delectable-looking desserts, including a large chocolate canoe. Trust me, you’ll want to bag up the rest of your entree and just take the whole tray from her.
True to its name, Trappers is made to look like a mountain lodge, with wood floors, rustic furnishings and stuffed wild game on the walls. It’s a spacious but cozy place that puts you in the mood to eat!
